Transcription:I, Abraham Sheldon of Reading in the County of Middlesex testifie and say that in the Month of July AD 1768 Casar (a negro man) was taken by a Warrant for his threatening to hurt Captain Edward Hurcum of Reading in his Person or Estate and the aforesaid Casar was carryed before Mr. Justice Nicholls and found guilty upon his Tryall and Mr. Samuel Taylor engaged to pay the Costs which was about four pounds Lawfull money, he said Taylor also became bound for his good Behaviour till next Concord Court Abraham Shelden Essex SS Salem 12 Nov 1771 Sworn Before Peter Frye Justice of the Peace
